In 2028, squash makes its Olympic debut at the Los Angeles Games. Before it does, the world's top players will come to Washington for one last chance to earn their place. They have been here before: Bellevue hosted the PSA World Tour Finals in 2024, and the Men's World Championship in 2015. Every match matters. Every point could send a player to the Olympics, or send them home.

Twice. In 2015, YSK Events brought the Men's World Squash Championship to Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, the first ever on U.S. soil: 100+ professionals, 25+ countries. The season-ending finals came to Bellevue. The top eight men and women in the world, including world number one Hania El Hammamy, competed at the Boys and Girls Club at Hidden Valley Fieldhouse.

What is the Final Olympic Qualifier for Squash?
The last qualification event before squash makes its Olympic debut at the Los Angeles 2028 Games. It takes place in Bellevue and Seattle, Washington, in June 2028. Players who have not yet secured a place at LA28 compete here for the final spots.
When and where is it held?
June 2028, in Bellevue and Seattle, Washington. The venue and match schedule will be announced. The Olympic squash competition itself follows in Los Angeles at the Comcast Squash Center at Universal Studios.
Who hosts the qualifier?
YSK Events, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Bellevue and founded by the Khan family, which holds seven World No. 1 rankings across its members. YSK hosted the 2015 Men's World Squash Championship at Meydenbauer Center, the first ever on U.S. soil, with more than 100 professionals from more than 25 countries. In June 2024, Bellevue hosted the PSA World Tour Finals, the top eight men and women in the world.
Why is squash at the Olympics for the first time?
Squash was added to the Olympic programme for Los Angeles 2028. It has never been contested at a Summer Games before, which makes the 2028 qualification cycle the first of its kind and this event the last stop on the way to it.
